米国スタンフォード大学と Elsevier 社が作成した科学分野で影響度の高い科学者を特定する研究者リスト「標準化された引用指標に基づく科学者データベース」が更新・公開され、「2024年単一年度」および「生涯」区分で、天野教授が選出されました。
Prof. Amano has been included in "Science-wide author databases of standardized citation indicators", a comprehensive list of the world's top 2% scientists that was updated and published in September 2025 by Stanford University and Elsevier.
本リスト作成のために、抄録・文献データベースScopusに収録された情報に基づき、22の科学分野と174のサブ分野において、少なくとも5編以上の論文を発表している世界中の500万人の研究者を対象として分析が実施されました。数種類の被引用指標を組み合わせた複合的指標により評価され、その指標値が高い被引用傾向として設定された「サブ分野での上位2％を示す」などの条件に該当する研究者がリストアップされました。分析は、被引用数の対象期間の違いにより、「単年」（single recent year）区分および「生涯」（career-long）に分けて実施されています。
The ranking is based on the Scopus citation database, which is classified into 22 scientific fields and 174 sub-fields. It includes scientists from around the world who have published at least five papers, and the top 2% are highlighted. There are two categories: 'single recent year' and 'career-long impact'.
